| There is limited information about the Upper Arun River. The book ?Himalayan Traders,? written by Christoph Von Furer-Haimendorf is perhaps the only book that gives insight about the people and the areas. History of Kiranti people ?The Kirats in Ancient India? written by G.P.Singh is another work that can shed light why Lhomis of Hatia region are different from the Tibetan to the North and other adjoining areas, such as Olangchunggola and Topkegola. Answers to some of the question about the ethnicity of Lhomis raised by Haimendorf can be found in the book written by Mr.Singh. more > |
