Tamang Heritage trail Trekking is a unique famous trekking trail in Langtang region where we will experience to stay in a lodge with locals in a family home stay during the journey. This treks start form kathmandu drive 7-8 hours by local bus or jeep to syabru Bensi. At the first day of our trek we will get an opportunity to relax the first sacred lake by parvti kunda then we can get another chance at Tatopani where we can take bathe in the hot spring water (Natural spring water) The people of this region are mostly Tibetans who came from Kerung in Tibet across the border and settled in Nepal. In earlier days, the citizenship of Nepal would not be offered to real Tibetans, so they changed their ethnicity to Tamang, which is what they still write till date. The cultural and traditions of these people are similar to the Tibetan across the border.
Tamang Heritage trail is the newly developed trekking route offers the beaten track, Tamang rituals, Tamang hospitality, Tibetan culture, festivals, traditional architecture, costumes, local Syabru dances which highlights an ancient lifestyle combining it with picturesque scenery and healing baths in natural hot spring. This trekking offer splendid view of the Himalayas such as Ganesh Himal massif, Tibetan Himalayan range, Langtang Lirung (7246m). After Briddim the trail leads to the Langtang valley. There are two good viewpoints after our trip back from Tamang Heritage trail towards Langtang valley known as Kyanjin Ri (4773m) and tsergo Ri (4984m) from where you may enjoy 360 degree square of the magnificent Himalayan panorama such as Langtang Lirung (7246m), Nayan khang (5847m), Dorje Lakapa (6966m), Yala peak(5523m), Gangchhenpo (6388m) and several other peak. Tamang Heritage trail return back via syabru village and end at Dhunche then drive back to Kathmandu by Local bus or jeep.
