Langtang Valley Trekking

Langtang valley trekking is one of the most popular trekking trails in Langtang region which is an easy trekking trail suitable for all age group of people .It lies northeast side of Nepal close to the Tibetan border. The starting point of the Langtang valley trekking begins from Kathmandu by overland trip to Dhunche or syabru Bensi. With in 7-8 hours you will reach remote valley of Langtang. The Langtang valley is also known as the treasure house of Alpine plants. Langtang valley area is inhabited by Tamangs whose religious practices, language and dress are much more similar to Tibetan. Langtang valley trekking offer splendid view of the Himalayas.

Langtang valley features attraction ranging from beautiful alpine scenery to the magnificent Himalayan panorama particulary of the Ganesh himal massif Langtang Lirung (7246m), Nayan khang (5847m), Dorje Lakapa (6966m), Yala peak(5523m) Gangchhenpo(6388m) and several other peaks. There are two good viewpoints in the area known as Kyanjin Ri (4773m) and tsergo Ri (4984m) from where you may enjoy 360 degree square of the magnificent Himalayan panorama. Apart of the Himalayan scenery you can get the chance to see some interesting domesticated animals, wild animals and birds. Among those found in the park are monkeys, musk deer, Pike and the national bird of Nepal, the colorful Daphne.
