Langtang & Gosainkunda Trekking
Langtang – Gosainkund Trekking is one of the popular trekking route combine with Langtang valley and Helambu valley trekking in Langtang region .this treks start form kathmandu drive 7-8 hours by local bus or jeep to syabru Bensi. this trekking also popular for religious, culture, holy lakes, beautiful waterfall, green forest and splendid view of the Himalaya as well as ancient mountain trail etc. you will experience the lifestyle of diverse different ethnic groups such as Tamang, Sherpa, Brahmin,Chetri and Newari along the trail Which follows ancient trading routes and passes through prosperous trading villages. Also find different domestic and wild animals of Himalaya like bear, monkey, deer and Himalayan blue ship. Gosaikunda is located to the south of Langtang valley. Gosainkund lake will be scene off a colorful festival during full moon in August. It's also beautiful in spring and autumn which we visit on the way to return journey from Langtang Valley.
There are two good viewpoints in this trekking known as Kyanjin Ri (4773m) and tsergo Ri (4984m) from where you may enjoy 360 degree square of the magnificent Himalayan panorama such as Langtang Lirung (7246m), Nayan khang (5847m), Dorje Lakapa (6966m), Yala peak(5523m), Gangchhenpo(6388m) and several other peak. on the way from Tharpati, kutumsang and chisapani will be viewed Ganesh Himal massif, Langtang Lirung (7246m), Gaurishankar (7134m), Choba Bhamare (6109m), purbi Khyachu,sisapangma on the Tibetan border and several other peaks. On the other hand you will see birth taking view of sunrise and sunset from Tharepati , Kutumsang and Chisapani. Finally the trek is end at Sundarijal and drive one hour by private car/taxi or local bus to Kathmandu via Buddhanath stupa.
