Jomsom and Muktinath Trekking The Jomsom and Muktinath trek is probably the most popular pilgrimage trek in Nepal. The diverse landscapes and cultures to be found along the trek route give a marvelous insight into the way of life of rural Nepalese people. Jomsom and Muktinath trekking there are several starting points but better to fly to Jomsom trek to Kagbeni and Muktinath then trek all the way follow the Kali Gandaki River through a gap in the Himalayan barrier in the bottom of the deepest gorge in the world. The valley of the kali Gandaki River that runs between Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri as well as Annapurna range it offers good views of the mountains with spectacular and varied scenery on the way to Tatopani (natural hot spring). Tatopani you can have good bath in hot spring. After Tatopani you climb up to Ghorepani (2850m) to visit Poon Hill (3200m) then make circuit trek to Ghandruk village and Dhampus Phedi which is provides you excellent views of Himalayas and different ethnic people working as farming and teahouse. After arriving in Dhampus Phedi take a taxi to Pokhara. From Pokhara you will take bus or flight to back in Kathmandu.
