Helambu valley is very famous for its natural beauty, scenic grandeur and pleasant climate with superb views of magnificent snow-covered mountains as well as an area of rich for Buddhist culture. Which is situated about 72km northeast of Kathmandu the area covers typical highland Sherpa villages along with beautiful Rhododendron forests and enchanting landscape. The starting point of this Helambu valley is Sundarijal and finished at Melamchi bazaar.
Helambu valley trekking features attraction ranging from beautiful alpine scenery to the magnificent Himalayan panorama particularly of the Ganesh himal massif, Everest Himalayan range, Langtang Lirung (7246m), Dorje Lakapa (6966m), Gaurishankar (7134m), Choba Bhamare (6109m), purbi Khyachu, Sisapangma and several other peaks. Apart of the Himalayan scenery you can get the chance to see some interesting domesticated animals, wild animals and birds such as monkeys, musk deer, Pike and the national bird of Nepal, the colorful Daphne etc. Helambu Valley Trekking is an easy trekking trail suitable for all age group of people.
