Gokyo Lake and Gokyo Ri, Peak are the final destination of Gokyo valley trekking. Gokyo Ri is the closest point to observe the Mount Everest. Gokyo trek has special important not only because it offers amazing view of Mount Everest including Mount Nuptse and Mount Lhotse. On the other hand, other mountains, at its surrounding area, offer breath-taking view along with Himalayan Glacier. Most beautiful Mountains as Mt Amadablam, Pumori, Labuche, Makalu and many more mountains peaks seen from Gokyo valley trek. Along with the expended Mountains, Gokyo Lake trekking offer taste of Sherpa villages, Buddhist monasteries and monks. It's not abnormal that you will cross with lots of smiling faces on the way, despite the fact they spend hard life in the mountain region. After your flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, this trek starts; while in the air you'll be amazed with the views of enormous mountains, forests, hills and villages from the tiny aircraft. Soon you will be led up to Sherpa villages.
As trail leads you to high altitude, you need to have acclimatization in Namche Bazaar, unofficial capital of Everest Region, Khumbu. Eventually you'll get to final destination Gokyo then next day early morning climb Gokyo Ri (Peak) then take nice pictures of Mount Everest and other peaks, as well as amazing glaciers. After Gokyo Ri trek few days to reach Lukla to catch your flight back to Kathmandu.
