Ghandruk Trekking

Ghandruk Trekking Ghandruk trek is a short trekking in Nepal but probably the best mix cultural trek in Annapurna region. There are no other routes which have this much natural diversity & cultural variety. This trek starts from Nayapul an hour car drive from Pokhara. In the beginning of trek village life, culture, terrace view & green hills' view can be enjoyed. Ghandruk is habitation of Gurungs who are known is "Gurkhas". Gurkhas have glorious history they created in Second World War. When you are reaching at Ghandruk village you can enjoy with views of Annapurna south, Hiunchuli, Annapurna, Machhapuchhre (fishtail) and so on.

From Ghandruk you can also enjoy the nice sunrise view at mountains early in the morning. We recommend you to visit Ghandruk Gurung museum and village to taste of real Gurungs culture. After Ghandruk you can trek though a beautiful villages Landruk Pothana and Dhampus. Ghandruk trek end at Dhampus Phedi then take a taxi to return Pokhara. From Pokhara you will take flight or bus to back in Kathmandu. Ghorepani trekking is also possible to combine with Jungle Safari trip in Chitwan or Rafting at Trisuli River.
