Gosainkund & Helambu Trek

Gosainkunda TrekGosainkund and Helambu trekking is popular destination for trekking in Nepal. This trek requires trekking experience and good physical condition. Gosainkund is a very popular and holly lake in Hinduism and Buddhism. If the lake remain calm, it can be seen the image of Lord Shiva in middle the lake at bottom. People celebrate great festivals two times in a year. These festivals are very important in shamanism. There are other lakes more than 100 lakes. Among them Bhairab Kund, Saraswati kund, Dhudh Kund, Nag Kund, Surya Kund, Bhut Kunda ¦etc. From Lauri Binayak pass Ganesh himal range and Langtang Lirung I and II, Manaslu, Nadgi Chuli and Nagdi Himal can be seen. Gosainkund Helambu trekking continue from Gosainkund over the Lauribinayak Pass (4610m) then you reach Phedi where small lodge are available, which is open only in high trekking season after having lunch in Phedi continue trek to Gopte (3440m) where is most of trekkers staying night in here after the pass. After Gopte few hour walk you will be reach in Tharepati then you choose route one goes to Sundarijal and another goes to Melamchi gaon. If you choose route goes to Melamchi Gaon will be perfect to explore Helambu valley and it is possible to end trek in Thimbu, Talamarang or Melamchi Pul but our program itinerary goes to Melamchi Pul after explore around the beautiful villages of Helambu.

Day 04: Dhunche trek to Sing Gompa (3330m)
Day 05: Sing Gompa trek to Lauribina Yak (3920m)
Day 06: Lauberina Yak trek to Goisakund (4460m)
Day 07: Gosainkunda trek to Ghopte (3440m) Over the Lauribina Pass (4610m)
Day 08: Ghopte trek to Kutumsang (2450m)
Day 09: Kutumsang trek to Chisapani (2140m)
Day 10: Chisapani trek to Sundarijal (1400m) drive to Kathmandu (1350m)
Day 11: Sightseeing to Boudhanath, Pashupatinath & Bhaktapur
