Jiri trek Cho La Pass and Everest base camp is a beautiful trail. This is a classic trekking route started by Sir Edmund Hillary in 1953. This trek goes from Jiri to the Everest Base Camp via the Gokyo / Chola pass and is one of the most outstanding and challenging treks in the Khumbu valley. This trek has a number of stunning attractions including trekking through the Solu area, visiting charming the villages of Junbesi and Ringmo and crosses over the great Lamjura pass. This trek offers excellent views of the high snow capped peaks, Himalayan wildlife and the Buddhist religion and culture.
